|Diva||I struggle to keep my eyes open as I wipe down a table. Back and forth, back and forth the washcloth goes. It's way too early for my shift but I'm trying to earn some extra money for a vacation. I shake my head, blink a couple times to get the sleep out of my eyes, and quickly finish the table. When I'm done I move on to the next, and the next. I don't understand why they weren't cleaned last night but I guess it doesn't matter now. I walk over to the door and flip the sign to open.
I scurry from the kitchen to tables and try to get food out as fast as possible. My fellow waiters and waitresses are equally busy around me. I didn't relize breakfast was so busy here! I never took the morning shift. I slip into the bathroom and quickly take my hair down, combing through my long red hair and pulling it back into the braid. I hurry back out and almost run over a customer. I apologize quickly and hurry on my way. The bar is already open, which surprises me but I continue to the kitchen and bring out the next person's order.

Scarlett scurries from the kitchen to tables and tries to get food out as fast as possible. Her fellow waiters and waitresses are equally busy around her. She didn't relize breakfast was so busy here! Then again, she never took the morning shift. She slips into the bathroom and quickly takes her hair down, combing through her long red hair and pulling it back into the braid. She hurries back out and almost runs over a customer. She apologizes quickly and hurries on her way. The bar is already open, which surprises her but she continues to the kitchen and brings out the next person's order.
|Yoko Suzuki||Not long after Scarlett sets the restaurant to open, the door opens, and in walks a young woman who appears to be in her early twenties. She is of Japanese descent, and she wears a green jacket with blue jeans. On her back is a black backpack. From the look on her face, it appears that she's under some kind of stress, as there are bags under her eyes, as if she hasn't slept for several days. The way she walks, almost shaky and uneasy, seems to reflect this.
The girl, Yoko Suzuki, is quick to be seated, and as soon as she sits down, she looks down at the table as if lost in thought. Her face looks neutral, but there's a definite sign of fear on her face.
|Diva||Scarlett sighs as she finally gets all the orders out for her section. She then pulls out her notebook and begins to take a couple orders before getting to a japenese girl. She looks lost in thought so she clears her throat quietly, so as not to scare her. "Hi! My name is Scarlett and I'll be your waitress this fine morning. Can I start you off with something to drink?" She grins at the girl and raises her notepad, pencil poised to write.|
|Yoko Suzuki||Yoko looks up quickly and tries to force a smile as she replies. "Hello, uh... I'll take a cup of..." She looks at the menu before looking up again. "I'll have a cup of tea, please, with milk."|
|Diva||Scarlett frowns slightly, this girl didn't seem right. It's none of her buisness though so she forces a smile and writes down the order. "Ok, great! Let me know if you need anything else, I'll give you a moment to look over the menu. Scarlett goes to get her drink and other people's drink and hurries to deliver them, coming back a moment later with her tea with milk. "Here you go. Are you ready to order or do you need a bit longer?"|
|Yoko Suzuki||As Scarlett comes back, Yoko looks up again from the book she's taken out and begun reading. This time, though, she seems a little calmer and smiles more sincerely. "I'll take the scrambled eggs and bacon please with a glass of orange juice, please." Her smile looks a bit more genuine this time around.|
|Diva||Her smile seems contagious and Scarlett finds herself smiling back before writing down the order. She brings the order out a little while later. "Here you go!" She sets the plate of breakfast down and the orange juice next to it. Scarlett then notices the book she was reading and her eyes light up. "Oh! What book are you reading?"|
|Yoko Suzuki||As Yoko looks up, she smiles again. "Oh, it's called Doors of Time. It's a new one by an author I'm a fan of." She scratches her head a little. "Haven't read a good book in a while, I've been rather busy I'm afraid."|
|Diva||She smiles at the girl. She knew the author well. "Oh, I've been wanting to read that book! It's by Felisblanco right?" I think back on my good books that have been read recently. "I pride myself on being able to pick good books. Have you tried.." I pause, trying to think of the best one I've recently read before catching the eye of my boss. "Oh. Er, sorry." I glance up at him before giving the girl a nervous smile. "My boss doesn't like me chatting with customers. Have a nice breakfast and let me know if I can get you anything else."|
|Barns||Barns walks in and takes a seat at a nearbye table and patiantly waits for a waiter to show|
|Yoko Suzuki||Nodding a little, Yoko smiles, then watches as Scarlett is asked away by her boss. She gets to work on her breakfast, not noticing Barns walking in.|
|Diva||Scarlett gets another few orders into the kitchen before noticing a nearby customer who hasn't been waited on yet and was in her section. She hurries over with a slightly weary smile. "Hello, my name is Scarlett and I'll be your witress this morning. What can I get you started off with to drink?" She holds her pencil over her notepad once more, ready to write down his order.|
|Barns||Barns looks up from the menu "coffe, black" he says trying to not look direct at scarlet so she dosnt see his scar|
|Yoko Suzuki||Meanwhile, Yoko is eating her breakfast and sipping her juice, while still perusing her book. She's not interested in Barns or whatever's going on. Not to mention even if she did see the scar, she wouldn't be bothered too much.|
|Diva||Scarlett forces a smile and nods. "That'll be right out." She goes back to the kitchen, putting the order in for the coffee. It had to be made in the kitchen so meanwhile I delivered the orders that were ready and came back to the man a moment later with the coffee. She places it in front of him with a smile. "Here you are sir. Are you ready to order or do you need a couple more minutes?"|
